These organizations provide social service programs, research, and advocacy to tackle the many challenges surrounding those working to overcome addiction, including personal finances, housing, physical health, mental health, unemployment benefits help, and many more issues.

  • United Way

    • United Way works to develop the Tippecanoe county community through youth engagement, ensuring that all children will graduate highschool, pursue college, and/or receive job training to maintain healthy, stable, and productive lifestyles.  

    • United Way describes itself as an organization which “fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community,” thus “mobilizing our community to improve lives.” 

    • We share the common objective of improving the quality of life for everyday community members within the Tippecanoe County region by working closely to strengthen mental, physical, social, and economic well being of those facing addiction related struggles.

  • Valley Oaks

    • Valley Oaks serves quality mental healthcare, education, and addiction recovery treatments to those residing in the general area of Carroll, White Fountain, Warren, Jasper, Newton, Montgomery, Benton, and Tippecanoe Counties. 

    • The institution has established itself as being “committed to the importance of mental health for the social, economic, and cultural well-being” of the citizens residing within the counties it operates in. 

    • Our Peer-Based Recovery Support is an approach that aligns well with formal mental health and addiction recovery treatments. By cooperatively providing spaces for residents of local counties to confidently receive life-saving care, our two organizations have established a valuable partnership for the betterment of the community.

  • Purdue University

    • Purdue University has long valued a socially responsible, engaged, and hardworking student body. A series of student organizations, academic grants, and curriculum partnerships have progressed how the general community effectively addresses addiction. 

    • The university’s integrity statement reads, “We act with honesty and adhere to the highest standards of moral and ethical values and principles through our personal and professional behavior.”

    • Institutions such as the Lamb School of Communication, Purdue Healthcare Advisors, Purdue Wellness, Purdue University School of Nursing, and many other affiliated organizations have partnered with us to address the growing crisis of alcohol and drug addiction.

  • Tippecanoe County Health Department

    • The Tippecanoe County Health Department is a local government body that addresses public health threats, issues, crises, and emergencies with state and county resources.  

    • The department’s mission is “to enhance the health and welfare of Tippecanoe County through public health education, promotion, prevention, and the protection of public and environmental health” as stated in the Tippecanoe County 2017 Annual Report.

    • Our organization works in conjunction with the health department to ensure that addiction does not further damage or threaten the security and safety of local residents.

  • National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

    • NAMI provides educational programs, policy advocacy, public awareness, and a toll-free number, so that those struggling with mental health issues can call and seek out support.

    • NAMI “provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.”

    • In many ways, NAMI and Phoenix Recovery Solutions QRT are aligned in overall mission and purpose. Providing safe-spaces for those in need of recovery services will be kindly welcomed by both NAMI and Phoenix Recovery Solutions QRT. Nami applies its strategies at a national level, while our organization focuses on providing support in Tippecanoe county.

  • Home with Hope

    • Basing its operations out of Fairfield County, Home with Hope has a long history of providing services and support systems to prevent the recurrence and spread of homelessness among community members.  

    • Home with Hope is made up of a talented and compassionate group of individuals who “believe recovery works through safe, structured and sober living.”

    • Many of our initiatives have worked to connect those suffering addiction with other lifestyle services including affordable housing. By encouraging community wide support systems for those most impacted by current structural barriers such as increasing rates of addiction or lack of affordable housing, our two organizations have worked cooperatively to resolve these challenges.

  • Mental Health America

    • Mental Health America is a reputable and well established national organization that organizes and implements community non-profit support to treat mental health issues.  

    • Their “work is driven by” a “commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all; early identification and intervention for those at risk; integrated care, services, and supports for those who need it; with recovery as the goal.”

    • Although Mental Health America is a nationwide non-profit, our organizations share the value of community centralized support as the most effective strategy to treat mental health challenges including addiction.
