How we differ from traditional approaches:

This is a mobile ‘community-based paramedicine’ model which allows our team to remove the transportation barrier that commonly deters many who are afflicted with mental health and/or substance use issues from seeking positive change. When it comes to recovery, we deliver. We deploy Peer-Based Recovery Supports (PBRS)*, individuals whose life experience combined with formal training; allows for a self-directed, strengths-based, peer-supported approach. Peers are remarkably successful at winning over the confidence of this highly resistant population. The addition of clinical oversight and collaboration with wrap-around style services; offers clients needing addiction recovery solutions a trauma-informed and multifaceted menu of options to both initiate and sustain long-term recovery.
